Groundbreaking research into the Australian Church's response to mental health to be released at the Summit!

NAYBA has been undertaking a major piece of research into the church's response to mental health in Australia. Coupled with data from our city and state-wide Impact Audits, we have conducted over 40 interviews with church and ministry leaders, mental health professionals, and people with lived experience.

Our hope is that the research will help the Church understand how we are already responding to the issue of mental health, articulate the unique role of Australian Christians, and present practical, evidence-based strategies for better serving our congregations and the community.

Meet The Host

Hello!  My name is David, and I'm excited to host the 2024 Blue Mountain Church Mental Health Summit.

I'm the founder of A Better Way Life where we offer training and support for ministry leaders on burnout and mental health.

This year, I am excited to partner with Nayab and Hope Made Strong to offer you an awesome line-up of speakers and opportunities to build community.

I hope you are able to learn and grow from every part of this event.

There are speakers from all over the world and with different backgrounds and experiences.

The goal is to equip the church to serve and support their community, but also to strengthen the leaders.

I'm excited to join you in learning and in conversation.

See you June 2024!
